I've played Texas Hold'em quite a few times with friends, so I know how to play. I'm no pro by any means, but while at Thanksgiving diner my cousin asked me to go to a tournament at a local bar. I thought it sounded like a good idea. The buy in is $35 which seems kinda steep to me, especially since I just got laid off from working at the computer store. The most I've ever paid to play before is $10, and I've only ever split the winnings 50/50 once. Hopefully I do well or at least have an awesome time.
